November 27th, 2018, the Clarivate Analytics has published an authoritative list “Global Highly Cited Researchers 2018” which identified researchers who have constantly published a notable number of highly cited papers, among twenty-one research fields, throughout ten years. The papers must be in the top one per cent of the most cited works in their field. This time in its fifth year, the list had included a new category “Cross-Field”, for recognising researchers with substantial influence across multiple fields.
Professor Itaru Honma has been named in the new category “Cross-Field” of the Global Highly Cited Researchers.
