ABOUT THE ISFM

Advanced materials have received a dramatic increase in their demand in research, development and applications. The International Symposium on Functional Materials (ISFM) is held a biennial year and attempts to share in the latest innovations, advances, and future multidisciplinary research and development in functional materials with a primary focus on the connection between fundamental science, engineering applications, and commercialization of the materials. The 10th symposium – ISFM 2024- to be held on August 3rd- 5th, 2024 in Sendai, Japan, covers a variety of topics among advanced materials science and technology, and especially focuses on the FOUR MAJOR CATEGORIES including:

  1. Environmental materials;
  2. Electronic Materials;
  3. Energy Materials;
  4.  Biomedical materials.
