Panoscopic Assembling of Ceramic Materials by Solvothermal Reactions
The precise control of the micro-, meso- and macro-structures (Panoscopic structure) and characterization of ceramic materials are investigated in order to improve the functionality of ceramic materials related with energy, environment and human health. Environmentally friendly soft solution chemical reactions such as solvothermal reaction using elevated temperature water and nonaqueous solvents are mainly used as reaction media for the synthesis of functional ceramic materials.
- Development of advanced visible light responsive photocatalysts for environmental purification.
- Development of cerium oxide based inorganic UV-shielding materials
- Synthesis of infrared (heat) ray shielding materials for creation of comfortable residence space
- Synthesis of ceramics nanoparticles and development of high performance fluorescence materials and environmental harmony materials
- Development of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics
