Hello! This is Hou Xueyan, a D2 student in Amezawa Lab.
Thank you for reading this article! I will share my experience of participating the Tagen Meeting on December 12, 2019.
The Tagen Meeting is held by Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials (IMRAM) in December every year. Many excellent works from different labs of IMRAM would be exhibited at the 1st floor of Sakura hall. This year, I’m one of the lucky one that got this opportunity to participate this enjoyable poster meeting.
Even more fortunately, I got nice comments from another battery researcher that has good knowledge of the cathode material I investigated. We had a pleasant discussion, from which I learned some new points. The meeting was just the same as the name of IMRAM, very multidisciplinary. Most other researchers were not from the Li-ion battery field, so that I made some efforts to explain my work in extreme detail to make it clear to my audiences. So it’s definitely a good chance to practice presentation skill in front of people who have no knowledge of my topic.
