Recent Progress in Long-wavelength Long Persistent Phosphor.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0 \u00a0this\u00a0\u00a0 presentation,\u00a0 \u00a0we\u00a0 \u00a0introduce\u00a0 \u00a0the\u00a0 \u00a0recent\u00a0 \u00a0progress\u00a0\u00a0 of\u00a0 \u00a0our\u00a0 \u00a0laboratory\u00a0 \u00a0on\u00a0\u00a0 the long-wavelength (red or yellow) long persistent phosphors. Our group are focused on the design \u00a0of \u00a0long \u00a0persistent \u00a0phosphors \u00a0and\u00a0 has \u00a0found\u00a0 some \u00a0new \u00a0hosts \u00a0which\u00a0 can\u00a0 produce long-wavelength \u00a0phosphorescence,\u00a0 such \u00a0as\u00a0 Gd9.33<\/sub>(SiO4<\/sub>)6<\/sub>O2<\/sub>: \u00a0Sm3+<\/sup>\u00a0 \u00a0(red), \u00a0Ca2<\/sub>BO3<\/sub>Cl: \u00a0Eu2+<\/sup>, Dy3+<\/sup> (yellow), Ca6<\/sub>BaP4<\/sub>O17<\/sub>:Eu2+<\/sub>, Ho3+<\/sup> (yellow) and so on. For the Gd9.33<\/sub>(SiO4<\/sub>)6<\/sub>O2<\/sub>: \u00a0Sm3+<\/sup>\u00a0 phosphor, it is interesting that oxygen vacancy is enormously responsible for its afterglow performance, and the afterglow time can last for more than 20 min above recognizable intensity level (\u2265 0.32 mcd\/m2<\/sup>). The Ca2<\/sub>BO3<\/sub>Cl: Eu2+<\/sup>, Dy3+<\/sup>\u00a0 phosphor reveals a yellow emission band located at 580 nm and its afterglow time can persist over 48 h. For the Ca6<\/sub>BaP4<\/sub>O17<\/sub>:Eu2+<\/sup>, Ho3+<\/sup> \u00a0phosphor, it can reveal one asymmetric broad yellow emission band located at 553 nm, and its afterglow time can persist over 47 h. Based on them, detailed processes and possible mechanism are studied and discussed.<\/p>\n
