lang=\"EN-US\">Our research goal is to realize renewable energy innovations and to contribute to global sustainability through advanced nanotechnology and nanoscience<\/span>.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">Using environmentally friendly materials processing and the exploration of advanced functional nanomaterials, the Honma laboratory investigates the frontiers of nanotechnology and nanomaterials for carbon capture and utilization, post lithium-ion batteries,\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">supercapacitors, and fuel cells, thereby contributing to innovative solutions for global sustainability, renewable energy, and a low carbon emission industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Our studies focus on advanced functional nanomaterials such as monoatomic layered materials (graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides), nanoparticles, nanoporous materials, multi-material compounds, metastable materials, organic nanocrystalline electrodes, novel solid state electrolytes for all solid-state batteries, supercritical fluid &amp; hydrothermal-electrochemical processing, and in-situ spectroscopy analysis using synchrotron light sources<\/span>.\u00a0<span
